The effects of smoking

Evidence to Prevent Smoking
There are many reasons, one of which is enough to prove that smoking is not allowed. Most importantly, it has many effects. It has consequences for Diyn, health, the environment, family, fraternity and social relationships, finances (assets) etc. The following information will briefly describe the disadvantages and their consequences.

Illegal For Diyn
Smoking destroys one's worship practices and lowers the cost. For example, it destroys Salah, which is the pillar of Diyn. A member of Allaah (Swalla Allaahu 'sallam alayhi alayhi) says:

((Whoever eats onion or garlic water, stay away from us and our mosques, and stay in his house. Angels are certainly suffering from things that hurt humans.)) [Narrated by Jaabir and other Companions. As told by Al-Bukhaariy and Muslim].

To those with neatness and unadulterated nature, there is no doubt that the unpleasant odor from the mouth of a smoker is more corrosive and more corrosive than that from the mouth of a person who ate onion or water. Thus, the smoker exists between two choices, either harming the people who pray with its rotten odor as well as the angels, or missing the jama'ah prayer.

Smoking also destroys fasting. The query is very difficult for the smoker. As soon as the day ends, he rushes to break his tie for the evil of smoking instead of the sweetness of a tent or pure water. Even if they fast in the month of Ramadhaan, the smoker may be weak to fast on other days. Thus, he loses the fine of the one who closes at least one day for Allaah.

Harm To The Human Body
No one can deny that smoking is harmful to the human body. Clinical evidence for this has been identified and widely known. Because of this, laws in the United States and other countries mandate the existence of a warning advertisement in cigarette advertising.

Smoking contains toxic chemicals, such as nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide, arsenic, benzopyrene and others; that the smoker swallows (these toxins) at least to a lesser degree. Its effects include the time when its effect is to gradually kill the human organs and the tissues of man.

The devastating effects of smoking on health are so many and difficult to list all. Among the possible side effects of smoking are cancer, tuberculosis, heart disease, asthma, cough, premature birth, poor pregnancy, harm to the urinary system, blood pressure, nausea, infections on the mouth and teeth etc.

These ailments may not occur at the same time, however the smoker may be severely affected by some of the ailments, and their severity increases with age. In addition, statistics indicate that the age of a smoker is, on average, ten years lower than other people.

This is enough to ban smoking. Islam prohibits any act that will cause harm to oneself or others. Allaah (Subhaanahu of Ta'ala) Says:

{{And do not kill yourselves (and do not kill your fellows.)}} [An-Nisaa, 4:29]

{{And do not give yourself into your hands in destruction.}} [Al-Baqarah, 2: 125]

And the Prophet (Salla Allaahu 'sallam alaihi waa) says:

((No harm can be done to oneself or others.)) [Narrated by Ibn 'Abbaas and' Abaday. As told by Ahmad and Ibn Maajah. Edited by al-Albaaniy and others].

Also the Prophet (Swalla Allaahu 'sallam alaihi waa) said:

(The foot of man will not depart from Judgment Day from standing before his Lord until he is asked about five things: his life - how he used it, his youth - how he used it, his property - where he got it and how he used it, and how he followed what he already knew. .)) [Narrated by Ibn Mas'uud and Abu Barzah. Received by at-Tirmidhiy. Edited by al-Albaaniy].

And he said:

((Whoever eats poison, kills himself by it (poison), then he will eat the poison into the fire of hell, and it will always enter his stomach and continue forever.)) [Narrated by Jaabir. As told by Al-Bukhaariy and Muslim]

Harm to Mind and Motivation
Smoking has a detrimental effect on the human mind and reasoning. The detailed explanation for this is that a person affected by smoking goes through the bad times of needing to smoke regularly, making him difficult to think, to concentrate on, to solve a problem, or to do anything important, until he smokes.

When a person smokes, his muscles relax, and he goes through a short period of mental exhaustion that complicates his problem. Her digestive system is also affected, causing her to experience periods of constant irritation and shaking hands. She goes through periods of relaxation or drifting too fast and not falling asleep.
